As a member of the Pylons Project Bert is a core contributor to Pyramid, as well as a maintainer of WebOb and waitress. Bert has an extensive background in not just Python programming but a wealth of knowledge related to large distributed systems and how to build them. Bert has worked as part of operations, architecting large scale systems as well as on smaller teams working as a team lead making sure that his people can be successful and thrive.
Bert is a team lead and a software developer that has been part of the Open Source community for years. He enjoys long walks on the beach and good coffee.
